Shia Hatred for the Prophet's Wives and Companions
Shias hate the Prophet's Wives and most of the Sahabah (especially the first three Caliphs). In this post, we shall only establish the Shia position on the Prophet's Wives and his companions. In future posts, we shall Inshallah show why this is contrary to Islaam.

Hatred for the Prophet's Wives and the Companions is a central tenet of Islaam.

The Shia will often use Taqiyya (lying to save one's religion) when they debate with orthodox (Sunni) Muslims. Using Taqiyya, the Shia will say that they don't really hate the Prophet's Wives or Companions, and simply that they "disagree" with them and that these people made mistakes.

Now, since this site is geared to the Shia, we don't really need to prove anything, since every Shia knows the truth of the matter: Shias hate Aisha and they hate Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman. Nonetheless, we shall prove it for the record that the Shia *do* call the following list of people to be apostates and Munafiqeen who will be punished by Imam Mehdi:
1) Aisha, wife of the Prophet
2) Hafsa, wife of the Prophet
3) Abu Bakr, First Caliph
4) Umar, Second Caliph
5) Uthman, Third Caliph

Throughout Shia history, the classical Shia scholars have passed Fatwas encouraging their minions to publically curse the above individuals. For example, Shah Ismail I, the "savior" of Ithna Asharis in Persia, would force people to insult the above people and would kill them if they did not. This is in recorded history and you can see my later posts on it.
Here are some Shia beliefs on the various persons above:
a) Shia Views On the Prophet's Wives
1. Aisha was an infidel woman (kaafir). (Hayat-ul-Quloob, Vol. No. 2, Page No. 726)
2. Aisha was a hypocrite (munafiqh). (Hayat-ul-Quloob, Page No. 867)
3. When the Twelvth Imam returns, Aisha will be raised from the dead so as to be whipped as due punishment. (Al Shafi, Vol. No. 2, Page No. 108)
4. When the Twelvth Imam returns, he will bring Aisha to life so as to torment her. (Haq-ul-Yaqeen, Page No. 139)
5. Aisha and Hafsa poisioned the Prophet. (Jila-ul-Ayoun, Page No. 118)
6. Imam Mehdi will punish Aisha with stripes. (Hayat-ul-Quloob, Vol. No. 2, Page No. 901)
7. Aisha and Hafsa were hypocrite and infidel women. (Hayat-ul-Quloob, Vol. No. 2, Page No. 900)
8. Aisha was charged of committing open vulgarity. (Quran Majeed by Maqbool Hussain Dehlevi, Page No. 840)
9. Hafsa was an indecent women. (Tohfa-e-Hanfia Dar Jawab Tohfa-e-Jaffria, Page No. 123)
10. ...Muawiyya and Aisha were worst people of all times. (Makalmaat-e-husainia, page #59).
11. Aisha and Hafsa tried to martyr Rasulullaah by giving him poison. (Vol. 2, Hayat-ul-quloob, page #870, Baqar Majlisi)
12. ...those two female munafiqs (referring to Aisha and Hafsa) agreed to martyr Rasulullah by administering poison to him. (Hayatul Quloob, page 745, Vol 2, Imam Baqir)
13. Now that we see Ali, and Ammaar, Uways al-Qarani and others face to face with Aisha and az-Zubayr and Talhah, we do not feel any hesitation, for we see the second group as people with the look of criminals, that is, the effects of evil and treachery are evident on their faces: and when we look at their faces and their treacherous characters we guess that they are people of the Fire. (Shia cleric Mutahhiri, TEHRAN TIMES, 25th August, 1982)
14. When Imam Mahdi arrives, Aisha will be resurrected so that she may be given a prescribed punishment and that Fatima be vindicated. (Mullah Baqir Majlisi, Haqqul Yaqeen, p. 347)
15. She [Aisha] was a traitor. (Mullah Baqir Majlisi, Tadhkiratul Aimmah, p. 66)
16. They [Aisha and Hafsa] were both hypocrites. (Mullah Baqir Majlisi, Hayatul Quloob, 2:745)

Let us now examine what Al-Tijani (who is very popular nowadays amongst Shia youth) said about Aisha: “…she [Aisha] tried hard to support her father, even by fabricating sayings [Hadith].” (Then I was Guided, p.141)

Here, Al-Tijani is accusing the Prophet's wife of being a liar. It is well accepted that fabricating Hadith is Kufr (disbelief) both in Shia and Sunni schools of thought. We find it interesting that the Shia liars will oftentimes claim that they don't think Aisha (ra) is a Kaafir, even though they hold that:

1) Anyone who fabricates Hadith is a Kaafir
2) Aisha fabricated Hadith
.
So how can the Shia deny what they think of her? The truth is that the Shia *do* think that Aisha (ra) is a Kaafir, and we have proven it through textual evidence above from their very books. However, due to the excessive usage of Taqiyya when the Shia debate with us, they avoid mentioning that Aisha (ra) is a Kaafir because this would weaken their stance and allow us orthodox (Sunni) Muslims to easily defeat their claims. So there are two questions that we should always ask the Shia when they try to avoid calling Aisha a Kaafir. First, what is that status of the person who fabricates Hadith. And two: did Aisha fabricate Hadith?

Furthermore, all the Shia are unanimous in that 1) preventing Ali from being Caliph is Kufr, and that 2) Aisha prevented him from this.

Here is what the Shia Hadith say on the matter: "[a person] becomes Kaafir by denying the Wilayat of Ali." (Usool-e Kafi, Page No. 420) Based on this and other Hadith, the Shia Ulema have declared that Aisha, Hafsa, the three Caliphs, and most of the Companions, were Kufaar. So why then do the Shia suddenly turn catty when we ask them to establish a firm position on Aisha being a Kaafir or not?

The truth is that these are simply the tactics of the Shia liars when they debate with us, but the textual evidence goes against this and their position is made clear by these textual evidences: according to the Shia, Aisha was a Kaafir and a Munaafiqh, and will be flogged by Mehdi. We ask the Shia to please stop using Taqiyya when debating with us, as this prevents both sides from reaching the truth. Stop being bashful and just say what you want to say. Stop talking from two ends of your mouth. You Shia write volumes and volumes of books on Aisha being this and that, and then you claim that you don't hate her when you debate with us? You will not even name your daughter with the name of "Aisha", simply because it is so accursed! Please stop making a fool of us, and more importantly, a fool of yourself.

1. First three caliphs became infidels (kaafirs) by denying the divine right of (Wilayat) of Hazrat Ali. (Asool Kaafi, Page No. 420)
